SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Modified polypeptide having sigma-factor A activity of RNA polymerase, wherein at least one amino acid selected from the group consisting of amino acids in the following positions of the polypeptide, having the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 2 is substituted, and the amino acid substitution is at least one of the following amino acid substitutions: 136G, 254N, 268S, 281S, 381R, 429R, 447H, 451I, 455V, 479R, 483R, 488T and 491R. Polynucleotide encoding said modified polypeptide is provided. Microorganism is proposed, having an increased ability to produce L-lysine containing said modified polypeptide. Method for producing L-lysine using this microorganism is provided.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to increase the production of L-lysine.
