FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pulse technology, namely high-voltage pulse power supplies of microwave direct-flying generators and amplifiers. High-voltage power supply system of microwave generator of klystron type with energy recuperation of electron beam contains single pulse source providing power to electron gun and collector of microwave generator. Multi-stage pulse voltage generator (PVG) is used as the pulse power source, the capacity of the PVG voltage multiplying stages connected to the collector is chosen to be smaller than the capacity of the remaining stages of the PVG voltage multiplication.
EFFECT: improving efficiency with decrease in the mass-dimensional characteristics of the device.
