FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communications and can be used to identify a reference signal in cellular radio networks. User equipment (UE) in a cellular network including a plurality of cells comprises a reception circuit configured to receive a reference signal (RS) and a time point associated with transmitting the RS, an RS measurement circuit connected to the reception circuit, the RS measurement circuit being configured to: identify the RS, based on comparing said time point with a silence scheme, as RS, associated with the cell of said plurality of cells, and identifying, based on the silence scheme, a measurement result of RS relating to the received RS. User equipment also comprises a transmission circuit connected to the measurement circuit RS, the transmission circuit being performed with the possibility of transmitting to the deployed Node B (eNB) the indicated measurement result RS and the indication of the identified cell.

EFFECT: technical result is the discrimination of reference signals transmitted by a cell that has the same identifier as the other cell in the network.
