SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by network unit (130) sending (A050) to user equipment (110) a configuration for receiving reference positioning signals, wherein the reception configuration comprises a cell identifier associated with the radio transmitting device (120), and an identifier for determining reference positioning signals; network node (130) sends (A070) to radio transmitter (120) a configuration of transmitting reference positioning signals, wherein transmission configuration comprises a cell identifier and an identifier; radio transmitter (120) determines (A090) reference positioning signals based on the cell identifier and identifier; radio transmitter (120) sends (A100) reference positioning signals to user equipment (110), which evaluates (A120) based on signal characteristic signal position reference signals, associated with user equipment (110) position; user equipment (110) sends (A130) to network node (130) report on estimated signal characteristics.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement and/or higher accuracy of RSTD reports (difference of reference signal arrival time).
