SUBSTANCE: wireless terminal accepts alarm information related to transfer of a reference signal in a specially assigned subframe. The alarm information includes a list. The list includes identifiers of base stations and an interconnection between an identifier of a base station and a template. The terminal determines at least one of identifiers of base stations in the list and the template of frequency-time resources related to transmission of a reference signal, intended for measurements of the observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) from a transmitting base station connected to the specified one identifier of the base station. The time of transmission arrival is measured from the transmitting base station relative to reference synchronisation.
EFFECT: reduced time of measurement of observed time difference of arrival in a wireless terminal.
