FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry, in particular to a method for intensifying natural air exchange in deep pits. Method includes directing air flows through channels tapering toward the center of the pit and placed along the windings of the wind flows. Direction of the air flows is performed through a channel formed on the leeward side of the pit and made with a slope of γ=16–20° relative to the day surface entering into the pit space to a depth of h equal to 0.3÷0.5 of total depth of the pit, and equipped with a wind directing panel at the level of the day surface with a slope equal to the slope of the channel. Angle α of the inclination of the wall surface of the channel relative to the vertical does not exceed 80°.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the intensity of the natural ventilation of the pit and increasing the volume of the pit space ventilated by straight-flow air jets.
