FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used in the construction of road embankments during construction of transport facilities on permafrost soils in the period with positive air temperature values. Method of the railway embankment temperature stabilization on permafrost soils is implemented by using a cooling system located in the railway embankment body, organizing artificial soil freezing and its keeping in a frozen state. According to the invention, soil maintenance in the frozen state during a period with positive air temperature values is performed in, at least, two temperature regimes and states, first of which is the waiting mode, that is set all along the road with a temperature from 0 to 0.5 °C with the possibility of maintaining the soil plastic-frozen state, and the second is the active freezing mode, with a temperature of -0.5 to -2 °C is carried out periodically before passing the train along a length equal to at least two lengths of the train, with maintaining of the solid-frozen soil temperature. This method was simulated in the construction laboratory of the TSTU PSC department.
EFFECT: ensuring the railway embankment temperature stabilization on permafrost soils during the construction of transport facilities in the period with positive air temperature values.
