FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to construction of transport facilities on permafrost soils in both summer and winter seasons, taking into account the use of freezing systems and thermostabilization of foundation soils. Embankment of the railroad on permafrost soils comprises a base, a cooling system located in the embankment body of the railroad and a ballast prism. Cooling system consists of two independent parts – main and auxiliary ones. Main part is voluminous rigid, made of waste tanks installed on a frozen base along the axis of the embankment and connected by pipelines. Auxiliary part is made in the form of a flat elastic-resilient covering, inside which thermoelectric Peltier modules are fixed and laid in the upper layer of the embankment at the ballast prism base.
EFFECT: technical result is increased stability of the embankment, reduced volume of soil dumping, as well as energy costs, ensuring the temperature regime and state of the embankment all year round.
