FIELD: environmental protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for sorting solid household waste (SHW), in particular for preliminary isolation of plastic containers, films, rags, paper and other types of SHW, which can be raw materials for pyrolysis, the technology of which is characterized by low emissions of carcinogenic substances, such as, for example, dioxins. Device for preliminary sorting household waste includes a sorting conveyor with elevations on the outside of the belt, working members for engaging the sorted objects made as sharp spikes with hooks driven into back rotation or a progressive movement that are mounted on the mechanisms for their movement. Elevations on the conveyor belt are made in the form of protrusions placed along the direction of the belt movement. Mechanisms of the working members movement are designed with the possibility of the ends of the spikes contactless with the belt movement in the recesses between the protrusions. Mechanism of the spikes movement is made in the form of a drum rotating around its axis with the spikes arranged radially or tangentially onto its shell and placed in packages along the circumferential planes of the shell.

EFFECT: technical result is a decrease in the damage of the conveyor belt, as well as an increase in the raw material base for pyrolysis technology for SHW disposal.
