SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to ultrasonic visualization means. Station for obtaining ultrasound images for use with a mobile device in an ultrasound imaging system, wherein the mobile display device has a second memory unit for storing a second operating system for control over the mobile display device, wherein the station comprises a transducer array, a hardware unit for obtaining an image for control over the array of transducers, receiving a received ultrasound signal and providing image data, a first memory unit, which stores a first operating system for control over an ultrasound imaging system, and an interface unit for releasable connection of the mobile display device to the station, wherein the first operating system is configured to control an ultrasonic imaging system including a mobile display device, and the ultrasound imaging system is configured so, that the second operating system is bypassed when the mobile device is connected to the interface unit, wherein the mobile display device is controlled by the first operating system. Ultrasound imaging system for providing an image of a tomographic plane or volume comprises a station for obtaining ultrasound images and a mobile display device.
EFFECT: using the inventions enables to extend the range of ultrasound imaging means.
