FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to liquid compositions made to remove DNA- and RNA-containing biological material from the surface of objects of inorganic and organic origin. Disclosed are compositions (variants) for removing DNA- and/or RNA-containing biological material, in the form of a mixture of the following two solutions: decontamination solution 1 (DCR-1) and decontamination solution 2 (DCR-2) at a ratio from 1:1 to 35:1, wherein DCR-1 may contain sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate (CuSO4×5H2O), iron (II) sulfate heptahydrate (FeSO4×7H2O), tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane (Tris, (HOCH2)3CNH2), glycerin, and deionised water; and DCR-2 contains hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), sodium benzoate (C6H5COONa), and deionised water.
EFFECT: removal of nucleic acids and destruction of cellular membranes on the surface of objects of inorganic and organic origin, including bone material, in laboratory conditions.
