FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for explosion protection of process equipment. This is achieved by the fact that in the method for determining the effectiveness of the explosion-proof device in the test model of the explosive object, the model of the explosive object is installed in the test box, and along its internal and external perimeters the video cameras are installed for video surveillance, while video cameras are made in explosion proof performance, and the outputs from the video cameras through the inner cavity of spacers are connected to the unit through which the recording and registering of the process of changing of the technological parameters in the mock-up are performed, then registering by means of system analyzers recorded processes waveforms, change of explosive object process parameters in the mock-up of the explosive object, and in the ceiling part of the model the opening is made, which is closed with the explosion-proof element that is installed on the free landing using three elastic pins, one end of each of which is rigidly fixed into the ceiling of the model, and onto the second end the horizontal crossbar is attached, between the explosive fragment and the opening, the three-coordinate pressure sensor in the explosion-proof design is installed, which output is connected to recording and registering equipment unit input, and on both sides of the pressure sensor there are temperature and humidity sensors that control the thermal mode in the model, the outputs of which are also connected to the input of the recording and registering equipment, and model enclosures inner and outer surfaces are pasted with strain sensors, which outputs are also connected to recording and registering equipment unit input, after processing of the experimental data, the information database is developed on the emergency situation development in case of the accident at the explosive site, and a mathematical model is created to forecast prevention of the emergency in case of an accident on the explosive object.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of process equipment protection against explosions by increasing the efficiency and reliability of bursting elements’ response.
