SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to regenerate sodium borohydride used as a hydrogen carrier. Method for producing sodium borohydride NaBH4 includes the introduction of sodium metaborate NaBO2 and granulated aluminum in a hydrogen atmosphere. Process is carried out under the conditions of mixing and grinding sodium metaborate and granulated aluminum using grinding bodies. Device for producing sodium borohydride 20 includes cylindrical reaction unit 22 rotatably mounted in reaction tank 21 and hydrogen introduction unit 23 for introducing hydrogen gas into reaction unit 22. Reaction unit 22 contains sodium metaborate and granular aluminum 1 and grinding bodies 2.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to lower the temperature of obtaining sodium borohydride and to increase its yield.
