SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry and the chemistry of surfactants, namely a process for the preparation of polyglycerol esters and fatty acids from waste products of vegetable oils that exhibit the properties of emulsifiers and can find application in household and automotive chemicals, cosmetics, etc. Method for producing polyglycerol esters from vegetable production waste includes maintaining a mixture of polyglycerol and fatty acids in a vacuum in the presence of a catalyst for 4 hours, using fatty acids of formula RCOOH, where R is a fatty acid residue containing from 6 to 22 carbon atoms and up to 3 double bonds, molar ratio of reagents polyglycerol : fatty acids 1:(1–7), maintaining the mixture is carried out with stirring in a vacuum of 100 mbar at a temperature of 230 °C, as a catalyst, phosphorous acid is used in an amount of 1 % of the total weight of the mixture of polyglycerol and fatty acids, and after the end of the reaction, neutralization with calcium hydroxide in an amount of 1.4 % of the total weight of the mixture of polyglycerol and fatty acids is carried out.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the preparation of polyglycerol esters of fatty acids of vegetable oils in a simple and technological way from polyglycerol with an average degree of polymerization of 5, and a mixture of fatty acids isolated from vegetable production waste, with heating without a solvent.
