FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nondestructive diagnostics of metals and alloys, as well as products made from them during the scrapping of metal products. Method consists in measuring the thermoelectric power between the heated electrode and the inspected article, amplifying it and displaying, is compared with the threshold value and alternating current is passed through the contact of the heated electrode with the inspected article and the magnitude of the voltage drop across the contact of the heated electrode with the controlled article is measured at two frequencies. Resulting voltage is extracted with two selective amplifiers with resonance frequencies f1 and f2. Detect these voltages and compare them among themselves and, at their equality, conclude that there is no capacitive component of the contact resistance.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of thermal EMF measurement.
