SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment in the field of monitoring the state of contact connections in a power electric network and is used to prevent fire in case of failure of a contact connection in an electric network or an electrical installation. Disclosed is a fire prevention device due to a failure of a contact connection in an electrical network, which, unlike the prototype, further comprises a first and a second starting mode analysis unit, each of which comprises series-connected rectifier, second low-frequency filter, differentiator, comparator, second input of which is connected to reference voltage source, wherein the output of the comparator of the first and second starting mode analysis units is connected to the microcontroller, the second amplifier is connected to the input of the rectifier of the first starting mode analysis unit, and the third amplifier is connected to the input of the rectifier of the second starting mode analysis unit.

EFFECT: validity of generated warning signal on occurrence of fire hazardous situation.
