FIELD: defectoscopy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nondestructive diagnostics of metals and alloys, as well as products made of them, when metal products are being sorted out. Device is proposed for monitoring the contact of electrodes with a controlled article during the sorting of metal products, which contains a heater acting on the heated electrode, a cold electrode connected to a controlled product and a direct current amplifier that is connected to the first indicator and a comparator. Comparator is connected to the second indicator and the threshold controller. Switch is connected to the heated and cold electrodes and connected in series by the first alternating current generator, the first selective amplifier, the first detector, the first ADC and the microcontroller, and also the second alternating current generator connected in series, the second selective amplifier, a second detector, a second analog-to-digital converter, a microcontroller, and a clamp indicator.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the accuracy of the thermo-emf measurement.
