FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to technical optics and method for detecting an observer. Method includes localizing a possible observer location and energetic illumination of the frontal surface of the observer's optical device with an equipped group of the identifier and operators. Identifier equipped with a weapon with a targeting complex is located opposite the possible location of the observer and is aimed. Operators equipped with weapons with impact systems are located within the field of view of the optical device of the observer, aim and illuminate the possible location of the observer with the help of radiation sources of the illuminating channels of the sighting systems. Identifier detects the observer by the energy picture that arose when the energy flux was mirrored from the frontal surface of the observer's optical device, from the anterior surface of the cornea of his eye, as well as due to diffuse reflection from the eye bottom of the observer on the optical channel recorder of his sighting complex.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability and safety of the method.
