SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. Current transformer (1) comprises sleeve (5), primary winding cable extending inside sleeve (5), which is electrically insulated by the insulation of the primary winding wire. Primary winding wire comprises loop portion (11) that is located outside sleeve (5), tube (15) located around primary winding wire along loop portion (11) and electrically insulating material disposed in tube (15). Electrically insulating material (21) is located around insulation of primary winding wire on loop section (11). Core (17) is located around tube (15). Secondary winding (19) is wound around core (17).

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability.
