FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing, end inlet branch pipe rigidly connected to central tube having perforation and together with the housing forming by means of perforated partitions in the form of at least one additional perforated pipe coaxially arranged to the housing and the central pipe, and all pipes ends are rigidly connected to the housing by means of solid partitions, wherein one of which is rigidly connected to the inlet branch pipe, and the other is located from the branch pipe opposite side, between the housing and the perforated pipe a sound-absorbing element is located, and in the central pipe end part locked by locking washer sound-absorbing element is arranged, porosity of sound absorbing element located between housing and perforated pipe is 2.5…5.0 times less than porosity of sound absorbing element located in end part of central pipe.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of noise suppression.
