FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. This is achieved by fact, that in industrial vacuum cleaner multi-chamber noise suppressor, comprising housing, consisting of cylindrical shell, rigidly connected by end round plates with inlet and outlet branch pipes, in housing perpendicular to aerodynamic flow direction are arranged, at least three jet chambers, formed by round discs with holes, wherein holes in discs are alternatively shifted relative to housing axis so, that holes in two adjacent discs do not coincide, wherein three series-connected jet chambers are connected with housing inlet branch pipe, according to invention jet chamber is arranged in housing, which is located between combined chamber and sound-absorbing chamber, adjacent to outlet branch pipe and end round plate, wherein combined chamber is formed by discs, connected to each other by means of central bushing, coaxial to cylindrical shell, and with inner surface lined with sound absorbing material, wherein one of discs facing inlet branch pipe, is made perforated and lined with sound absorbing round element, which are also installed on discs with holes forming jet chambers, and sound-absorbing chamber is formed by cylindrical shell, end round plate with discharge branch pipe and disc with central bore, coaxial with combined chamber central bushing, wherein sound-absorbing chamber inner surfaces are lined with sound absorbing circular element, installed coaxially to cylindrical case, and round plate with discharge branch pipe and disc with central bore are lined with sound absorbing round element, housing is made of structural materials with layer of soft vibration dampening material applied on its surface from one or two sides, for example, mastic VD-17, or "Gerlen-D" type material, wherein coaxially to cylindrical housing in chambers sound-absorbing annular elements are installed, each of which is made in form of rigid and perforated walls, between which two layers are arranged: sound-reflecting layer adjoining rigid wall, and sound-absorbing layer, adjoining perforated wall, wherein layer of sound reflecting material is made with complex profile, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, which enable to reflect sound waves incoming from all directions.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of noise suppression.
