FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: noise suppressor contains a cylindrical body, rigidly connected to the end inlet and outlet nozzles, and partitions, at least two discs with holes, forming the chambers, are installed in the body perpendicular to the aerodynamic flow direction. The holes of the discs are alternately misaligned relative to the housing axis, so that the holes in two adjacent disks don't coincide. The housing is internally lined with sound-absorbing material, and the discs are lined with sound-absorbing material on the side of the aerodynamic flow movement. The body is made of structural materials, with soft vibration-damping material coated on its surface from one or both sides. The sound-absorbing material is made of mineral wool of a basalt "Rockwool" type, or "URSA" mineral wool, or basalt cotton wool P-75, or glass-wool with a woven glass liner are used. The sound absorbing element over the full surface is lined with the acoustic transparent material, for example, glass fabric EZ-100 or polymer "poviden".

EFFECT: improved efficiency of noise suppression.
