FIELD: noise suppression technique.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet branch pipes, and baffles, in the body, perpendicular to the direction of flow of the aerodynamic flow, at least two disk with holes, forming the chambers, are installed, wherein the orifices of the discs are alternately displaced relative to the axis of the housing in such a way, that the holes in the two adjacent discs do not coincide. Housing is made of structural materials with layer of soft vibration dampening material applied on its surface from one or two sides. Coaxially to cylindrical body, in chambers, sound-absorbing annular elements are installed, each of which is made in form of rigid and perforated walls, a sound-reflecting layer adjoining the rigid wall, and a sound-absorbing layer adjoining the perforated wall, wherein layer of sound reflecting material is made with complex profile, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, which enable to reflect sound waves incoming from all directions. As a sound-absorbing material mineral wool on a basalt basis of the Rockwool type, or mineral wool of the URSA type, or basalt wool of the P-75 type, or a glass wool with glass-fiber lining, or a foamed polymer, for example, polyethylene or polypropylene is used, while the surface of fibrous absorbents is treated with special porous air-passing paints (for example Acutex T), or coated with air-permeable fabrics or nonwoven materials, for example, “Lutrasil”.

EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency of noise suppression.
