FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: suppressor contains the cylindrical body, rigidly connected with the end inlet and outlet nozzles, and a partitions, at least two discs with holes forming chamber are installed in the housing perpendicularly to the direction of aerodynamic flow, at that the disc holes are alternately misaligned relatively to the axis of the housing, in such a way, that the holes in two adjacent disks don't coincide. The ratio of body length L₁ to its diameter D is within the optimal values range L₁/D=3.5…4.0; and the ratio of housing diameter D to the diameter of outlet nozzle D₁ is within the optimal values range D/D₁=4.5…5.5; and the ratio of housing diameter D to the diameter of the discs hole d is within the optimal values range D/d=5.0…6.0; and the ratio of housing diameter D to the chamber length L_C is within the optimal values range D/L_C=2.0…4.5. The housing is made of structural materials, coated on its surface from one or both sides with the soft vibration-damping material, such as WD-17 rezin or material "Guerlain-D" type. The ratio between the thickness of the linning and the vibration damping coating is within the optimal values range 1:(2.5…3.5), and the sound-absorbing ring elements and the sound-absorbing circular elements are installed in the chambers.

EFFECT: raised efficiency of noise suppression due to the chamber suppressor settings by means of the noise absorbing element turn.
