FIELD: household appliances.

SUBSTANCE: nozzle for a hand-held household appliance comprising an inlet, an outlet and a fluid flow path between an inlet and an outlet, in which the outlet port comprises at least one groove extending from the region adjacent the end face of the nozzle inlet in the direction of the distal end of the nozzle. Outlet is partially defined by the outer surface of the nozzle, from which the fluid, ejected through the outlet, is injected along the outer surface. Groove extends along the length of the nozzle, and the fluid, ejected through the outlet, is attracted to the surface of the nozzle. Outlet has several grooves spaced around the nozzle. Fluid ejected through the outlet, follows around the outer surface of the nozzle and along the tangent to the outer surface of the nozzle. Nozzle has a longitudinal axis extending from the first end to the distal end, and at least one groove is parallel to the longitudinal axis, alternatively, at least one slot may be disposed not parallel to the longitudinal axis. Also disclosed is a household appliance incorporating such a nozzle.

EFFECT: nozzle may further comprise an element for guiding the flow between the inlet and the outlet.
