SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a seal for an airtight seal between interconnected pipes, preferably air ducts. Device for sealing the joint of the ventilation duct contains a seal where the external ventilation duct contains a spiral reinforcing rib and the seal extends continuously around the outer periphery of the end of the fitting of the vent duct, wherein the seal comprises a protrusion that extends outwardly from the outer periphery of the vent for the sealing abutment to the inner surface of the external vent duct, and an outer portion on the protrusion, and the protrusion and the outer part are configured with the possibility of physical and continuous contact the inner periphery of the ventilation duct and the inner periphery of the reinforcing rib at the junction, besides reinforcing rib forms a spirally changing diameter of the external vent duct, the outer part of the protrusion extends in different directions where each outer part has a free end located at a distance from the protrusion, besides distance measured in a plane parallel to the longitudinal direction of the fitting of the ventilation duct is equal to the inner height in the radial direction of the spiral reinforcing rib.

EFFECT: it allows to create a sealing means for eliminating air leaks on / in the joints between ventilation ducts.
