FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry, namely to a method for producing a biologically active beverage from sea buckthorn. Method includes the preparation of sea buckthorn berries, followed by treatment in a microwave field with a frequency of 2,400+50 MHz for 1.0–1.5 minutes, after which they are sent to the dryer for drying. Drying process is carried out at a temperature of 50–55 °C for 7–8 hours and dried to 7–8 % moisture berries. Then the dried berries are cooled, ground to a powdery state and packaged in a suitable container.
EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in the quality of the finished product, an increase in biologically active components, and a reduction in the duration of the technological cycle.
