SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of the product level recording in a collecting tank or hopper. Nuclear level gauge for the product level measuring in the hopper uses a plurality of scintillators placed in a consistent manner. Source of the nuclear radiation is located next to the hopper, and scintillators, which may be bundles of one or more scintillation fibers or scintillation crystals, are located in series next to the hopper opposite to the source of nuclear radiation, so that the nuclear radiation passing through the hopper falls on the bundles. Light guides transfer the photons emitted by the scintillators, which characterize the passing through the hopper radiation, to a common photoelectric multiplier. Photomultiplier is connected to the electronic device, which converts the count of photons from the photomultiplier to the result of the radiation absorbing product level measuring in the hopper.

EFFECT: technical result is the simplification of the nuclear level gauge design.
