SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine and pharmaceutics, namely to a pharmaceutical composition for reducing the manic symptoms of bipolar disorder, containing a therapeutically effective amount of O-carbamoyl-(D)-phenylalaninol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and the use of O-carbamoyl-(D)-phenylalaninol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to reduce the manic symptoms of bipolar disorder.
