Then calculate the ratio of the twist, which takes into account the calculated distance to the point of damage to the cable according to the formula, taking into account the specified distance to the point of damage to the cable, coefficient of twist, distance to the fault location of the cable, determined by the time delay of the reflected pulse with respect to the probing pulse.
