FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for determination of faults in cable lines. Device for inputting parameters of a cable power transmission line comprises a housing in which there is a precision potentiometer for setting the origin of the distance to the point of damage to the power transmission cable line, precision potentiometer for setting the distance reading to the fault point of the cable line with a reading indicator of the distance to the fault point of the cable line, which brushes are made with possibility of connecting to the line irregularities meter line scanning unit, precision electromagnetic wave shortening value input potentiometer with electromagnetic wave shortening coefficient indicator, precision coefficient potentiometer for inputting a coefficient value wincing, electronic-digital indicator of coefficient value wincing, adder with first and second inputs. Indicator of the electromagnetic wave shortening factor and the indicator of the distance to the point of damage of the cable power transmission line are electronically digital. Brush of precision potentiometer of input of shortening factor of electromagnetic wave is connected to first input of adder and to input of electronic-digital indicator of shortening factor. Precision potentiometer brush for coefficient value input wincing is connected to second input of adder and to input of electronic-digital indicator of coefficient values wincing. Adder output is configured to be connected to the line non-homogeneity meter measuring unit.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining distance to a fault point of a cable power transmission line.
