FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a fibre-reinforced composite material. Described is a method for producing a fibre-reinforced composite material, comprising a step of contacting (i) a radically curable resin, the resin being an unsaturated polyester resin, a vinyl ester resin, or (meth)acrylate resin, (ii) fibres with a total water content of 0.5–20 % by weight relative to the total weight of the fibres, (iii) at least one compound, containing a transition metal selected from manganese, iron and copper compounds, and (iv) a peroxide. Described is a radically curable composition for producing a composite material, comprising (i) a radically curable resin, the resin being an unsaturated polyester resin, a vinyl ester resin or (meth)acrylate resin, (ii) fibres with total water content of 0.5–20 % by weight relative to the total weight of the fibres, and (iii) at least one compound, containing a transition metal selected from manganese, iron and copper compounds. Also described is a two-component composition for producing a composite material comprising components A and B; wherein component A contains said radically curable composition and component B contains a peroxide.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in strength, a decrease in rigidity and an improvement in shock absorption capacity of the composite material.
