SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry, in particular to devices providing passive safety for pedestrians and drivers of two-wheeled vehicles when they collide with the front of cars. Car security system contains overload sensors and a control module associated with gas generators, and an external airbag inflating from under the hood and covering the car's windshield with the front pillars and the leading edge of the roof. External airbag filled with gas from the side of the external damping surface has along the left and right sides of the ledge with shelves on their inner side sides at the top along their length, and the side surfaces of these beads are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the car, and the upper and lower surfaces of said shelves are parallel to the axis of symmetry of the windshield, and along the upper edge, a ledge connected to the said sides with a shelf on its front side upward along its width, the front and rear surfaces of which are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the car, and the upper and lower surfaces of this shelf are parallel to the axis of symmetry of the windshield.
EFFECT: provides an increase in the effectiveness of pedestrian protection.
