FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to the production of composite materials, and can be used to produce composite materials with high antifriction properties, as well as materials for electrical purposes, brushes, inserts of pantographs, current collectors. Method for producing an aluminium-based alloy for the production of composite materials with a carbon graphite skeleton includes melting aluminium and introducing zinc, nickel and chromium into the melt, wherein zinc, nickel and chromium are introduced into the melt in the form of a prepared composite alloying additive in a weight ratio of aluminium to the composite alloying additive equal to 11.7–12.7:2–3 with the following ratio of alloying components in the composite additive, wt%: zinc 87.8–95.6, nickel 3.7–7.3, chromium 0.7–4.9.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the penetrating power of the alloy, the adhesion strength between the alloy and the reinforcing skeleton, and, consequently, to improve the quality of the composite material.
