FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatuses for dehydrating and desalting oil and cleaning petroleum products and can be used in the oil and petroleum refining industry. Electric dehydrator includes a housing, an input and distribution system for raw materials, an oil outlet, a water outlet connection, two high-voltage power supplies and electrodes located in vertical planes and alternately connected to appropriate power supplies. Electrodes are made in the form of parallel gratings, each of which is offset relative to the neighboring height. Input and distribution system of raw materials is equipped with a generator of raw material irradiation with nanosecond electromagnetic pulses. Electrodes for irradiation of raw materials are semi-ring elements mounted on the inner surface of the insert in the pipeline of the input and distribution system of raw materials, contacting with transported raw materials and insulated from the insert. Parameters of nanosecond electromagnetic pulses are: duration is 1 ns, amplitude is no more than 12 kV, one pulse power is from 2 to 3 MW, pulse repetition frequency is 1000 Hz.
EFFECT: technical result: increased efficiency, reduced duration of demulsification and reduced energy consumption.
