FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inorganic chemistry and can be used in the preparation of phosphors. First, an initial mixture is prepared comprising stoichiometric amounts of oxides of lanthanum and neodymium, containing an admixture of holmium, said oxides being pre-calcined at 900–910 °C, and germanium oxide and sodium carbonate taken with an excess of 25–30 wt%, pre-calcined at a temperature of 640–650 °C. Resulting mixture is intensively ground with the addition of ethyl alcohol and pressed. Heating is then carried out to a temperature of 900–910 °C with a heating rate of 15–20 deg/min, said temperature is maintained for 6–6.2 hours, temperature is then raised to 1,100–1,110 °C with a heating rate of 15–20 deg/min and said temperature is maintained for 1–1.2 hours, followed by arbitrary cooling to room temperature. Obtained compound sodium germanate of lanthanum, neodymium and holmium has a composition NaLa9-x-yNdxHoyGe6O26, where 2.5–10-2≤x≤1.25⋅10-1, 1.9⋅10-7≤y≤1.4⋅10-6, and is suitable as a luminescent material for converting monochromatic laser radiation with a wavelength of 808 nm to a series of 2.0–2.3 mcm emission lines, 2.5–2.9 mcm, 3.0–3.35 mcm.
EFFECT: invention widens the range of luminescent materials excited by laser radiation.
