LINE OF MANUFACTURE OF CHROME LEATHER WASTE FODDER PROTEIN ADDITIVE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A23N17/00

Abstract RU 2654109 C2

FIELD: recycling and disposal of waste.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for processing tannery waste and can be used to produce a fodder protein supplement from chrome leather waste. Production line of the fodder protein additive from chromium scrap waste contains a feedstock shredder, a conveyor, and a working body for obtaining a feed additive. Line consists of a consecutively connected section for processing raw materials, a site for the production of a wet finished product, a site for the production of a dry finished product and a filling machine. Shredder of the feedstock is connected to a successively installed pulper of the middle fraction and a centrifugal shredder in the raw material processing section. Working body for obtaining the feed additive is connected to the steam separator at the production site of the wet finished product and is made in the form of an extruder. Extruder comprises a side loading unit, a power unit and a working chamber, on the shaft of which the receiving, preparatory and working augers are successively installed. At the end of the body of the working chamber is installed a head with an adjustable valve to maintain the temperature and pressure in the working zone of extrusion. Body of the lateral loading unit consists of a receiving hopper with a tedder and a worm gear located under it, connected to the body of the working chamber.

EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to obtain from the chromium skin waste a fodder additive with a high content of digestible hydrolyzed protein with improved taste and sterility of the finished product.
