FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For surgical treatment of swelling cataracts using a femtosecond laser, high-molecular viscoelastic is used, femtosecond-stage, phacoemulsification of the lens masses and implantation of the intraocular lens are performed. Before the femto-stage, two paracentes are performed, high-molecular viscoelastic is injected into the anterior chamber until the pressure in the anterior chamber is 30–32 mm Hg. Apply the nodal stitches to the paracentesis, and then proceed to perform the femto-stage surgery of the swelling cataract.
EFFECT: method allows to form anterior circular capsulorhexis during a femto-stage with precisely defined parameters without the risk of an uncontrolled rupture of the anterior capsule of the lens in the treatment of swelling cataracts.
