FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Lens nucleus is removed during femtolaser-assisted cataract extraction complicated by lens subluxation. A femtosecond stage is carried out in the form of an anterior capsulotomy, fragmentation of a nucleus of a crystalline lens and a stage of phacoemulsification with subsequent implantation of an intraocular lens. After performing the femtosecond stage, the nucleus of the lens is divided by a phacoemulsifier needle and a chopper according to incisions made with a femtosecond laser without hydrodissection and delineation. Gas is released into the anterior chamber by dividing the nucleus with subsequent removal of the halves of the lens into the anterior chamber by phacoemulsification.
EFFECT: method allows reducing intracapsular pressure and minimizing risk of posterior capsule rupture.
