FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for the intraoperative determination of the value of intra-lenticular pressure (ILP) in patients with swelling cataracts. Under operating conditions, after performing two corneal paracentesis with a size of 1.2 mm and dyeing the anterior capsule with dye, the anterior chamber is filled with a high molecular viscoelastic until intraocular pressure (IOP) rises to 28–32 mm Hg. Measure IOP using Maklakov tonometer. Using an insulin syringe with a needle, an additional puncture is performed in the anterior chamber and the anterior lenticular capsule is opened with a needle. Observe the exit of the lenticular masses from the capsular bag into the anterior chamber. If a diluted lenticular mass is released, then after they stop, the ILP value is determined using a Maklakov tonometer, which in this case corresponds to the pressure value in the anterior chamber. In the absence of the output of the lenticular masses from the lenticular bag with an insulin needle and syringe, the viscoelastic is aspirated from the anterior chamber until liquefied lens masses appear in the anterior chamber. After that, the IOP is measured using a Maklakov tonometer, which corresponds to the value of the ILP.
EFFECT: method ensures the creation of an equilibrium of pressure gradients in the anterior chamber and inside the lenticular bag of the lens and the safe conduct of phacoemulsification of the swelling cataract due to the use of high molecular viscoelastic and measurement of IOP and ILP.
