FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a projector display system. System comprises a light source; a controller, a first holographic modulator, an optical system adapted to transmit light from said first holographic modulator, and a second modulator. Said second modulator comprises a holographic image forming unit made in the form of a non-mechanical beam steering module, which is a polarisation plate and operates in accordance with commands received from the controller to control the beam for high-brightness illumination. Second modulator is illuminated by light from said optical system and is configured to modulate light from the optical system and comprises multiple mirrors. Controller further comprises a processor and a storage device.
EFFECT: invention provides high image brightness through non-mechanical beam steering.
