FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: use for ultrasonic examination of round stock and pipes. Essence of invention is that the device for ultrasonic examination of round stock and pipes comprises a stator, a rotor and ultrasonic transducers, wherein it further comprises at least one acoustic mirror disposed on the rotor, wherein at least one ultrasonic transducer is fixed to the stator, at least one ultrasonic transducer is located on the stator, directed so that the direction of its radiation/reception is almost parallel to the axis of the object under examination, the mirror is made in the form of at least one reflecting element, geometric shape of which corresponds to a specific measuring or defectoscopy task, ultrasonic transducers form at least one ring whose radiation/reception axis is almost parallel to the axis of the object under examination.
EFFECT: increased productivity of ultrasonic examination equipment, as well as simplified design.
