SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry, and is intended for use in the operation of resection of molar root ends of the lower jaw. Cut out and exfoliate the muco-periosteal flap with the subsequent osteotomy of the cortical bone plate in the apical part of the lower molar teeth. In this case, after exfoliation of the mucosal-periosteal flap, an osteotomy of the cortical plate of the mandibular bone is performed by sawing a bone block 2–3 mm wide, 3–5 mm height, the length of the outer cortical edge of the bone block – 8 –12 mm, the length of the inner spongy margin of the bone block – 8–10 mm, and convergence angle of cuts of 60–75° using a piezoelectric effect apparatus for generating low-frequency ultrasonic oscillations in the range of 24,000–29,500 Hz with a modulation frequency of 10–60 Hz, followed by the separation of the bone block and its reposition after resection and retrograde filling of the apices of the roots and the return of the mucoperiosteal flap into place.

EFFECT: method allows, by reducing the traumatism of the proposed method and minimizing bone loss in the operative zone, to accelerate bone regeneration, minimize the risks of thermal damage to the bone and shorten the duration of surgery.
