Heating unit for the aerosol generating system manufacturing method includes providing a flexible wick, connecting the wick to a rigid support member; heating element installation around the rigid support member and the rigid support member removal. Heating unit manufacturing method for the system, of aerosol generation includes providing a flexible wick, applying a tensile force to the wick, heating element installation around the wick and the tensile force attenuation in the wick.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is prevention of the wick excessive mobility during the heating element wrapping around thereof.
