FIELD: simulators; training.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to training aids (TA) for the training of crews of aircraft and helicopters to use recovery parachutes in special (emergency and catastrophic) situations, that, for various reasons, may occur during flights above the surface of various water areas, including over the stormy sea. Parachute simulator to prepare for water jumps contains a jump tower equipped with an airstairs; right and left identical L-shaped supporting structures, consisting of vertical struts with horizontal consoles. Simulator includes a swimming pool with wave generator simulating sea disturbance and a rescue boat, and wind turbines are installed on a board of the pool, creating a back wind of the necessary force.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the training of aircraft crews when using recovery parachutes in emergency situations.
