FIELD: aeronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to parachute training of personnel and can be used in ground training facilities for parachutists training. Method of ground development of parachute training elements includes placing on surface of training place sign of landing place of paratroopers of reduced size and sign of cone-wind indicator of reduced size. Orientation of wind indicator cone sign relative to paratroopers landing place sign imitates wind direction at landing site. Instructor sets the landing simulation start point, the trainee, moving along the surface of the training place and changing the azimuthal position of his/her body, imitates the trajectory of movement in space when performing a parachute jump, while forming a trajectory corresponding to the type of the parachute used.
EFFECT: providing ground training by personnel prepared to perform parachute jumps, constructing a landing approach trajectory at different wind direction in the area of the landing site.
