SUBSTANCE: winding system comprises a drum having an axis of rotation, the drum comprising a plurality of ledges separated radially from the axis of rotation, wherein the ledges form a stepwise configuration along the inner surface of the drum. Winding system also comprises a first clamp having a first width and a second clamp having a second width greater than the first width, wherein during the rotation of the drum, the first clamp and the second clamp engage with the plurality of ledges.
EFFECT: invention provides a drum with a stepwise configuration.
