FIELD: technology of water and air purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to decontamination of wastewater containing organic dyes. To carry out the process, waste water treatment is carried out at a pH of 6–8 and a temperature of 40–60 °C hydrogen peroxide in presence of a cobalt-containing catalyst based on a ceramic block-cellular material. Cobalt content in the catalyst is 0.1–0.15 % by weight.
EFFECT: invention provides for absence of secondary impurities and an additional purification step from the finely divided catalyst particles.
