FIELD: technology of water and air purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for conducting ion exchange adsorption processes. Adsorbent contains a cylindrical body with an elliptical-shaped bottom, a cover, a perforated cylinder and a nozzle for supplying initial water. Connection for the supply of source water is located in the lower part of the housing. In the bottom there is a choke for emptying the device from water after the end of the ion-exchange cleaning process. Lid is made in a flat shape, in the upper part there is a nipple for removing the purified water from the apparatus and a glass, and a perforated cylinder with hooks is attached at the bottom of the lid. Hooks are located in the height of this cylinder. In the lower part there is a horizontal disk. On the edge of the disk there is a through hole located coaxially with the blind hole of the glass. Rod with hooks located along the height of this rod is installed in the hole on the disk and in the hole in the glass. At the bottom of the bar above the horizontal disc there is an opening in which a key is inserted to prevent the bar from falling down into the hole of the disc. Hooks on the perforated cylinder and rod are installed with the ability to hold the tape from ion-exchange cloth with a layer of ion-exchanger particles rolled onto it on a perforated cylinder deposited on it.
EFFECT: possibility of carrying out ion-exchange treatment of water with the help of ion-exchange materials with a density lower than the density of the water being purified.
