FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry, specifically to equipment for conducting ion-exchange adsorption processes. Filter of mixed action contains vertical cylindrical housing, elliptical bottom welded to housing, three supports for installation of filter on foundation, pipes for supply of initial water for cleaning, removal of purified water, supply of solutions of alkali and acid, removal of waste water, waste flushing water, spent solutions of alkali and acid, according to the invention, the cover is made of a flat shape, on which there is a branch pipe for discharge of purified water and spent solution of alkali, a shell and pockets, in the middle part of the filter on the support there is a horizontal partition with a through hole for passage of the purified water, flushing water and spent solution of alkali, the horizontal partition divides the apparatus in height into two parts, in the upper part of which there is a hollow perforated cylinder, the top of which is attached to the cover of the apparatus, and bottom – to horizontal disc, on which there is a sleeve and pockets, on the perforated cylinder an anion-exchange blanket is rolled into a roll, one end of which is held by means of a rod installed in the cups located coaxially on the cover and the horizontal disc, and the other edge of the blanket is held by another bar installed in pockets located coaxially on the cover and the horizontal disc, in lower part of apparatus under horizontal partition with cartridge and pockets there are hollow perforated cylinder, horizontal disc with glass and pockets and two rods identical to top similar parts, wherein on the lower perforated cylinder the coiled blanket is coiled and inside this perforated cylinder there is a disc rotary lock for passage of the purified water, flushing water and spent alkali solution, as well as to shut off alkali flow during regeneration of anion-exchange blanket.

EFFECT: possibility of performing ion-exchange treatment of water simultaneously from cations and anions using ion-exchange materials with density lower than density of purified water.
